Tillmann you beat me to it.
Probably just as well because I wouldn't have been able to put a pic of the cover on.
Yes. Reissues. I was talking to someone about that .
l'll start my Christmas list now. Although I still have "Beginners......." on vinyl. One of Mrs.C's favourite Saga albums. :D

Yeah, Beginners is a fukken great album!!! Giant is an epic masterpiece! And Shape!

But it gets really interesting with Security, this album is a MUST HAVE on vinyl... Wished they would have the master tapes, the sound would be freakin' awesome!!! Digital to Vinyl is... Hm... Obviously all we can get...

I personally think that this is a true compilation. A track from each studio album is a great idea.
Ok there will be arguments over the selection of the tracks no doubt but a good selection for the Saga novices out there.

If it's true that the BAND did choose the tracks, it DOES make sense! Interesting...

What Kind of sense do you see in the Choice of these Tracks, Tillmann ?
I mean, some songs on it are very interesting...but Steamroller...? ??

It seems that "Steel Umbrellas " gets a rough deal at times.
Ok. I'm going to admit to really liking it.
My choice from that album probably would've been steamroller. :D

If the band choose the tracks we can see their own favourite tracks of those albums, what makes it kinda interesting.

Hey folks,

Yes, it's true that we (the band) did indeed help to choose the tracks and I have to tell you that while it was no easy task, at the end of the day it was a very diplomatic process! ;)

But I do think it's a very good cross-section for any new listeners.

Yes, the layout is quite good! Hearing it from start to finnish is very interesting and shows all the sides of this band (even the confused ones)

There's a review of the album in this months Prog magazine.
There's also an interview with Rupert Hine.
Sadly there is very little mention of Saga in it. I find that rather bewildering.
