Tell me more... I want to get in touch with their music since I know SAGA, never did so far, always wanted to buy me some cheap vinyl on a fleamarket, but Max Webester wasn't a gig thing here in Germany back then, so you won't find them that often. Maybe this boxset could make the start for me.

Love at first sight.
How can I describe them........
Quirky and fun. Not overly heavy. A bit prog and a bit pop. Not very helpful. Sorry.
The box set is on Spotify. "If it's on there then you don't need to buy it." Says Mrs C.
Don't want it but NEED it. Not cheap but when you have to you have to.
Don't mention that I have ordered it.
Still have their albums on vinyl and original disc.
Mr. Mitchells solo stuff, if you don't already know, is worth a listen.

Next time I'm around I think I will get it.

Our record store has got some Max Webster LPs, but as they are kinda rare here in Europe each one costs about 20/30 euros, too much if it isn't Maiden or SAGA. So I thought a 5/8 albums boxset, around 40€ would be great.

Akimbo alogo was Kim mitchells first full solo album after the 12" ep.
I really like Go For Soda. I had a re mix, the syphon remix , it was called I think. I used to play it a lot at the club I worked in. I say work.....

Like it. Power poppy 80's mash up. Nice keyboard and harmonies.
Messed up again though. They supported Thunder in a show at a castle near here. Fantastic setting. Mrs.C loves Thunder and went. Me, not being a big Thunder fan , didn't.

Have seen them in summer and will see em again tomorrow in the SAGA living room, a nice club in Aschaffenburg! Not my favorite band, but a friend of mine loves em and my dads a DT/Portnoy maniac, so I'll join them having a great day! Soto is a great guy!

Just back from a prog festival in North Wales .
Two twelve hour days of music over two arenas. Indoors I hasten to add and well organised.
Best band were Southern Empire. Australian lot.. Check them out.
Listened to them on the way home.
Also This Winter Machine were impressive.
